Services offered include:

- Thorough career and potential major analysis to assist in the development of a customized plan
- Development of college list by identifying colleges that are a good fit based on academics, social skills, and finances
- Helping students plan for their educational testing (ACT/SAT/SAT Subject Tests)
- Assistance in identifying and accurately describing all relevant extracurricular, athletic, employment and community service activities
- Assistance in the strategy for applying: EA, ED/EDII & RD
- Proofreading all applications prior to submission
- Offering guidance and coaching on how to present "your best self" to colleges via your application, campus visits, and interviews
- Providing information about scholarships and financial aid deadlines
- Sharing information relevant to student athletes and special populations
- Assisting with the development of self-advocacy skills that will allow the student to access appropriate support services in college
- Advising on wait list and/or deferral process (if applicable) and support when making final decision
- Helping the student process information and choices related to college admission and provide information about the transition to college
- Disclosing all of the student’s academic and psychological history, including report cards, official score reports from standardized testing, IEP, and 504 plan, if appropriate
- Maintaining regular and prompt communication via email, phone, or text
- Meeting deadlines for submission of essays and completion of assigned tasks
- Scheduling of and making college visits
- Maintaining communication with the high school counselor and following the requirements of the high school guidance office
- Completing the FAFSA and CSS Profile
- Sending official test scores (SAT/ACT) to Colleges
- Securing academic and personal recommendations, sending them to the college by deadline
- Completing and sending applications
- Monitoring status of application and advising colleges of enrollment intentions
- All writing for the application must be the student’s own original work
- Deposit must be sent to only one college or university

- Fees are not accepted from institutions or programs for referral or placement of a client.
- The primary obligation of Mrs. Hunkins is the welfare of the student.
- Although we have had gratifying success, no guarantees are implied.
- Since the only person who can impact the college’s ultimate decision is the student, designated fees are payable whether or not the student gains acceptance to the college of choice.
